Re: The Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt Starts Today!
The easiest way is to use Paypal if that is an option for you. You can send it to AllisonWondrland@...
Otherwise if you want to email me, I can give you an address to send a check to, or I could set something up on a website I have where you can use a credit card (I haven't done that yet, but I could do it tonight). Meeting up in person is probably unwise these days, but maybe if nothing else works.

What's the ways to pay for this?
The Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt Starts Today!
Just a reminder that the Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt is starting today at 5pm! The case that holds the medallion sits empty and now it is up to you to search the lands of St. Paul to retrieve it and return it home. If you want to become a registered hunter you can do so by getting me $10 before the release of the 4th clue (Paypal is easiest but there are other options if you want to contact me for details). The top prize will be at least $250, perhaps more if we get more than 25 people registered. Otherwise you can also hunt for free and win $100 if you find it.
Re: The 2021 Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt
It has not started yet. It officially starts on this coming Wednesday the 17th at 6pm.

Has this started yet?
Re: The 2021 Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt
Awesome. Thanks much!
Re: The 2021 Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt
How could I find out what the item looks like and where it’s been found previous years?
The 2021 Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt
Just as the PP hunt ends, it's time to talk about the The Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt. As always, it has a certain fluidity to it. Kind of like when the PP Medallion was found after Clue 5 a few years back, I started mine the next day. Even April has played host some years going the other way. In this year's PP hunt things were on the shorter side. Since it would also be nice to actually have reliable snow for once, I'm going to start mine a bit earlier this year. Wednesday, February 17th will be the kick off day, going through the end of February. Remember, you'll be looking for the Allison Wonderland medallion. It will be in a park in St. Paul. The medallion will not be hidden indoors, underground, on a body of water, up a tree, near a steep hillside, inside anything electrical, or anywhere else that is ruled out by the PP or would make you wonder if searching there is a bad idea. If you wish to participate, there are two ways you can do so. Number one, you can pay $10 to be a registered hunter and win the whole prize which should be at least $250.00. Get registered by sending it to me via Paypal at allisonwondrland@... or email me at that same address if you want to make another arrangement. The other way to participate is as an unregistered hunter and if you find it you will get $100. However much is left from the registrations will get donated to another hunt in that case.
Every clue will get posted at 5:00pm. Clues will appear on The Allison Wonderland Group, the Cooler Crew Treasure Hunt Group on Facebook, and the Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt Group on Facebook. Likely they will get cross posted to other groups too. Until the medallion is found, contact the cluewriter at your own risk it's not my job to help you. Evidently we won't be having a kickoff party this year, though we could maybe do a zoom if people want.
So anyway, that's the plan and let me know if you have any questions.

Re: Park Pool Final
Thank you David for hosting this group. I could not get my photos to attach from my smart phone. I ended up posting them on the PP FB website. I got to hold the medallion ball and Josh kindly took the picture which l only posted on my FB site. I never got the Apollo 10 Snoopy so l was down at the Matoska park part because of the boat launch, tackle, dog park and original Chateaux Gay was off Lake and 6th Street according to the resort history. Also the island was used by the Indians for maple syrup-mollasses. I was going to do the West Park after. I didn't know the new building was also named similar to Chateaux Gay. Anyways the cluewriter never used any of those clues and meanings were pretty vague. The lesson is not to look so deeply into each word because it is a gamble. I did have fun and so thankful it was warm. Again thanks and lucky you...you get to keep your money!
Re: Park Pool Final
You might also find this interesting. This is the total points accumulated for each park. Early guesses were worth more points.

Park Pool Final
Here is a snapshot of the final totals in this year's Park Pool. I ended up being the winner being the only person to pick West Park on Clue 7 and then no one joined in on clue 8 knowing it was already locked up. But perhaps it will still be interesting to see how the voting turned out overall.

Re: FOUND - Memorial Beach in WBL
Sorry I wasn't on top of this news earlier but I've been having a busy day. But congratulations to Josh for finding it.
I was pretty sure it was at West park, but partly because of ideas other people told me and I wasn't really at liberty to repeat. The big one I got from Matt Koskie was the clue about the countdown. He pointed out to me that the lunar module names for Apollo 11 was "Eagle" and Apollo 10 was "Snoopy". That suggested to me the park was between 10th and 11th. The nearby McDonalds might have been the thing we love (their slogan is "I'm lovin it"). Avoid the shifting sands told me it was West Park and not the adjacent beach. Some people here pointed out the adjacent complex was the "Chateauguet". There was a gazebo for shelter and benches to recover as well as plenty of picnic tables for cooking and eating. Lake Ave on one side was a one way road. The Gatsby clue was suggestive of White Bear Lake. So that was what made me think it was there. I think I was also the only person to guess that park in the pool prior to it being found, so I think I win the pool!

Re: Guesses
Darn, there again when they found it. With me being in a boot made it hard to walk a long way. Boot or not a did some digging making it year 51.
Re: FOUND - Memorial Beach in WBL
A guy named Josh Ellingson was tagged on Facebook. Congrats to him and his team.
