A treasure hunt without snow shovels?
It’s true. This year the St. Paul Pioneer Press is sponsoring a summertime hunt at the Minnesota State Fair. You don’t have to find a hidden medallion. You just need to solve a clue and submit a picture.
Each day of the Fair, a clue will be released at 10 a.m. atTwinCities.com/StateFairHunt and then on Pioneer Press social channels challenging hunters to locate a landmark or have some fun performing a task on the fairgrounds. Contestants enter by submitting a selfie with the landmark or task and the hashtag #StateFairHunt on Twitter or Instagram. They can also enter through a form atTwinCities.com/StateFairHunt.
There will be winners and prizes each day. The first correct entry of the day earns a $50 gift card. The most creative entry gets a $25 gift card. Once the Fair is over, every entry will be entered into a Grand Prize drawing for $1,000 and two runner-up prizes of $500. Every winner also gets a State Fair Hunt T-shirt.
