The annual kickoff to the St. Paul Winter Carnival will take place during the start of the holiday season in downtown St. Paul.
The designs for the four buttons for the 2015 Winter Carnival will be unveiled Saturday during the Rice Park tree lighting and grand opening of WinterSkate.
Winter Carnival royalty will be on hand for the unveiling.
The buttons and other festival merchandise will be available for sale immediately following the unveiling at the event. Button prices will be $5 for one and $19 for the collector’s pack of all four images.
Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with button unveiling at 5:30 p.m. on the skating rink.
The 129th St. Paul Winter Carnival will take place Jan. 22 to Feb. 1, 2015.
