The St. Paul Winter Carnival is looking for some hardy volunteers to work the Jan. 26-Feb. 4 festival.
Organizers say they’re desperate to fill volunteer shifts. Assignments include helping stage the parade horses, stomping snow, assisting kids down a snow slide and guiding visitors through an ice maze. The carnival relies on the work of about 1,400 volunteers every year.
Visit http://volunteer.winter-carnival.com to view a listing of volunteer activities and additional information, or call Jayme Forstrom at 612-804-9714. Volunteer groups, such as families and office buddies, are welcome.
