The 2013 St. Paul Winter Carnival buttons, designed by ice carver Chad Peterson, feature glimpses from all over the annual festival -- the clash between Boreas Rex and Vulcanus Rex, ice carving in Rice Park, the St. Paul Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt and the parades. The four designs were unveiled Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, during an evening ceremony in Rice Park and will be available at Cub Stores, Super America and other retailers. King Boreas, Vulcanus Rex and the rest of the royal family were in Rice Park on Wednesday, Nov. 28, to unveil the 2013 Winter Carnival buttons.

The four designs are on sale at Cub Stores, SuperAmerica and other retailers. The carnival also sells the buttons on its website, winter-carnival.com. Buttons are $5 apiece or $19 for a full set. The 127th St. Paul Winter Carnival runs from Jan. 24-Feb. 3, with most events happening in downtown St. Paul.
