It was right at the end past Dakota caves about 1/2-3/4 miles in. Old brewery there. In a plastic pyramid. Was down there to see it and saw the press conference. 

I don’t know if they would hide it in the sanctuary but The Bruce Vento Trail runs through Swede Hollow and ends at the sanctuary. Swede Hollow is a land once cast asunder. Plus the beer clue. However Pigs Eye is right near here too.

I just drove by a group of hunters near Carver Cave when driving above from Warner Rd. I was on my way to Pigs Eye and then was going to go to Bruce Vento after. I
think I saw the group that were hanging around the finders. This was a very good hunt for not having snow. I felt it was a park on the Mississippi, but so many parks fit something in the clues.
Congrats to the hunters. It was a great hunt!

I was just hunting by that guy. You can see the “city first” building. Underneath the power lines “wired”

I know the city had plans to develop Pigs Eye park; they usuallly have coty crews mow the long grass for a few undeveloped trails in summer, but there's not much for parking/developed trails. I feel it wouldn't be the safest area to hide the medallion, but it's definitely possible.

I took the in the pink clue to mean good physical health - like it might be a bit of a hike to get there; hopefully with a bridge (link). What do people think about pigs eye lake? You can only get there by walking from Battle Creek. I've never actually been to the lake - is it hard to get to? Is there a bridge? 
Pigs eye lake is separate from pigs eye park; that could be the asunder part.
