Re: PP Medallion Hunt - Clue #10
That worked better than what was posted
Re: PP Medallion Hunt - Clue #10
Now I do, though I'm not sure if you can read them without a description:

Ok. Usually they are out the next day I thought in the past
Re: PP Medallion Hunt - Clue #10
I read that the clue explanations will be in Thursday’s paper.

David, do you have a link to the clue explainations?
Re: PP Medallion Hunt - Clue #10
The photo was time-stamped 2015. So strange
Re: PP Medallion Hunt - Clue #10
Maybe it was the CW's car. They were checking for possible hiding spots near the beach house.

Re: PP Medallion Hunt - Clue #10
Was the puck hidden in the car?
Re: PP Medallion Hunt - Clue #10
Wow! I never knew that. And I grew up with baseball.
Good noodlin'.

So odd that we can not watch the interview on ppd without subscription but anyone can see it on cbs
Re: PP Medallion Hunt - Clue #10
And this!
Re: PP Medallion Hunt - Clue #10
I think the Chinese clue was a what's in the park reference clue. I think the true hiding clue is that A can of corn is a lazy fly ball that is easy to catch.
Re: PP Medallion Hunt - Clue #10
Gold and silver. Silver can gold corn.
Re: PP Medallion Hunt - Clue #10
Just read that the medallion was inside an empty can of SunLuck stir fry baby corn. It's a Chinese product, so the clue about taking it on the CHIN and buckling the KNEES is the only remote clue about what the puck was hidden in. Maybe Clue 11 or 12 would have referenced the SunLuck can in some way, unless there is some anagram in one of the other clues that we missed.
It'll be interesting to read the CW's clue explanations.

Here's a link to a short video celebrating the hunt
Part 1 of the video is the reveal of the PP patch and part 2 is a poem about the hunt in which I of course include The Allison Wonderland community. I swear my rhymes are much easier going than the CW's 2023 hunt. Total runtime is just over 2 minutes.

Winter Carnival Scavenger Hunts Are Still On!
Hey everyone, the Medallion Hunt might be over now, but the Winter Carnival definitely isn't! Take a day to rest up and process what just happened. But then if you start to worry that life is getting back to normal just a little too much, the Winter Carnival Scavenger Hunts are still going on! And with the nice weather coming up this weekend, it will be a great time to get out and explore the city with the North Wind Hunt. Think of it as 30 one clue treasure hunts. Solve the clue, visit that location, do a GPS check in on the Goosechase app, and you won't even have to do any digging! Here is what some people who completed this year's hunt have said:
"I really loved this experience. It definitely got me do some different corners of the city."
"My kids and I all had an awesome time"
"Your clues are great, and it was fun to explore the variety of sites and places St Paul offers. The variety of locations was amazing."
If you're ready to stay indoors for now, we also have the South Wind Hunt which also offers 30 clues to 30 locations. But rather than visit, you'll just need to find the answer to a question once you solve the clue. Or for a harder challenge we have the East Wind hunt which presents you with 12 tricky puzzles to solve to figure out the 12 locations you must visit. Or finally, take the kids and head back to Phalen for our West Wind Hunt. Just give us a couple of days to make sure everything is back in order now that we're done treasure hunting there.
Each hunt costs $20 (which goes 100% to the Winter Carnival, thanks to Priority Courier Experts, our sponsor). If you'd like to sign up, you can do so at https://www.wintercarnival.com/events/saint-paul-scavenger-hunt/
