The TDS Telecommunications and Monticello Times 2016 Medallion Hunt has ended. Big Lake resident Luke Sandahl found the medallion in the Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park.

One medallion clue was released each day this week on the Monticello Times website (www.monticellotimes.com) and Facebook page and on TDS Telecommunications’ Facebook page.

Sandahl receives a print and online picture and story published next week’s the Monticello Times and a $100 Visa gift card for his medallion hunting effort.

The clue for today (Friday, Feb. 19) read as follows: Swimming or canoeing? What shall it be? You’ll find me by #1 marker named after LaValle!
