ST. PAUL, Minn.—More than 200 felines will compete for the title of “best cat” at the 34th annual Saintly City Cat Club Show in St. Paul this weekend.

As many as 26 breeds from the U.S. and Canada will be on display Saturday and Sunday at Exhibition Hall at Roy Wilkins Auditorium.

The winning male and female cats from the household division get to be crowned king and queen by St. Paul Winter Carnival royalty.

There are four classes of judging: kittens, championship, premiership and household pets.

Tickets are available at the door. Spectators with a St. Paul Winter Carnival button get $1 off adult admission price.

The Saintly City Cat Club was established in 1974.
