In celebration of its 125th anniversary, the St. Paul Festival & Heritage Board is inviting the public to design the 2011 St. Paul Winter Carnival button set.
Artists are asked to design four buttons that best represent the past 125 years of Winter Carnival tradition, using bright colors and a vintage look.
In addition to having his or her creation adorn buttons and other merchandise, the winning artist will receive a Saint Paul Weekend Experience package, including a weekend stay at a downtown St. Paul hotel, dinner, event tickets and more. The winning designs will be unveiled at the annual St. Paul Carnival Button Bash on Dec. 4.
Artwork must be e-mailed to info@wintercarnival.com by Sept. 25. Include your first and last names, age, address, a photo, e-mail address and a brief description of the design concept. For more information, go to winter-carnival.com.
