Several slots are still open for teams looking to compete in the St. Paul Winter Carnival’s jigsaw puzzle contest.
As of Thursday, about 20-some spots remained open.
The annual competition pits teams against each other in a race to complete a jigsaw puzzle. This year, a documentary film team will be recording the action.
The 2011 contest will be from noon to 2 p.m. Jan. 30 at Landmark Center.
Cost is $50 a team. Teams can register the day of the event, if space is still available.
Carnival organizers are also looking for companies or individuals to donate gift baskets as team prizes.
