The 2013 St. Paul Winter Carnival has crowned its Senior Royal Court.

During festivities on Tuesday, Jan. 22, David Forsell was crowned King Winter the 55th and Jackye Whitner was crowned Queen of the Northlands.

Also named to the Royal Court during the coronation at the Paul & Sheila Wellstone Center were Randy Burger (Prince of the Four Winds); Patricia Richardson (Princess of the Four Winds); Lou Michaels (Prime Minister); and Lee Shovell (Lady-in-Waiting).

The senior royal family reigns during the 127th Winter Carnival, which begins Thursday and runs through Feb. 3.
