The newly crowned King Boreas led his royal family and friends from Smith Avenue to Rice Park along West Seventh Street in the annual Grande Day Parade during Saturday’s St. Paul Winter Carnival festivities.

The parade, which includes marching bands and floats, is held each year on the first Saturday of the Winter Carnival.
