Former “Dukes of Hazzard” star John Schneider and inevitable narrator Morgan Freeman are a few of the actors who will pop up in movies at this year’s St. Paul Frozen Film Festival, as part of Winter Carnival.

Schneider plays the father of a young man murdered in “Hate Crime,” one of nine full-length movies in the festival, which includes Minnesota-made features such as “Oxenfree,” as well as short films and documentaries. One of the documentaries is “The C Word,” narrated by Freeman (spoiler alert: the word is “cancer”).

The movies will be screened at Twin Cities Public Television’s Street Space and Landmark Center. Tickets are $12 apiece, but all-access passes are available for $99.
