The 2013 Lakefront Days medallion has been found.
A group of five medallion hunters called City Hall to report they found the Lakefront Days medallion on Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 8:45 a.m. on the western trail of Spring Lake Park in Prior Lake.
City Communications Director Michael Peterson said the group was able to describe the secret message written on the back of the medallion, confirming the find. An official visual certification will be made Wednesday afternoon.
The Sticha family of Prior Lake, which also won last year's hunt, found this year's medallion.
