I'm the FREEDOM DAY'S MEDALLION and several yards from an avenue or street!
As high as the ankles above your feet, I'm anxiously waiting to be found!

I'm wrapped in a soft black bag so I don't get scratched or hurt.
I want to stay warm and clean and I really don't like dirt!
From where I am, I can hear children's laughter as they play.
They're running very quickly, but I'm safe and easily out of the way!
