Follow Up
A Couple hours after the release of the third clue for the Bar-B-Que medallion hunt, Jeremy Heitkamp and Steven Beckmann discovered the medallion near a culvert in a waterway between Kwik Trip and JD Auto.
That evening Jeremy and Steven found out how important family were to them. They both agree that all the water terms were the key to finding the medallion, a mixture of CB terms was a reference to the diesel pumps at Kwik Trip. At that point they needed a little more so Jeremy contacted his father, Brad Heitkamp wondering what the clues, contractions, bouncing baby boy and follow your own star meant. Brad told them those clues had something to do with the Nativity. He told them he was pretty sure they put the Nativity scene at Christmas time in front of JD Auto. That advice steered the duo to the area. When they got there, they were still struggling to pin point the medallion. Thats when Steven’s wife Elizabeth got involved. She told them that The Deluxe and Foaming action were car wash terms which helped steer Steven and Jeremy to the prize.
Other Clues that helped them were Fighters nearby was a reference to the fire station. Wine Country was a reference to Napa, JD Auto has a Napa sign on the side of their building. Many blessings and be a believer were references to Church Street.
The Doctor Office Clues: the medallion was attached to a figurine that said Doctors Office on it.
Being the clue writer, I’m pretty proud of Jeremy, Steven and their families. In conclusion, Jeremy and Steven were very impressed with the amount of other medallion hunters they ran into that night. The medallion hunts are alive and well in Belle Plaine Minnesota.
I would like to thank all who participated in the hunt.
