The Spud Fest Medallion has been found and a mother and son walk away with $150 in their pockets.

Pat Mattson and her son, Quinten, found the medallion Friday in Browns Park. It was hidden under the trash can.

Chiropractor Dr. Scott Schulz of Great River Spine and Sport, which sponsors the medallion hunt, presented the Mattsons with their prize Wednesday morning.

Clues to the medallions whereabouts were posted in the paper each week and on the window of the GRSS office each week. 

If the Mattsons did not have a Spud Fest button, available for $1 from any Big lake Ambassador or Ambassador candidate, their prize would only have been $50.

Spud Fest is upon us again this year.
So that mens medallion hunting time is here.
Come rain or come shine on this you can bank,
Great River Spine and Sport you will thank.
To collect the $150 a Spud Fest button you must buy,
Otherwise...."just a $50 bill?" you will sigh.
The time's come around, where will it be found?
This summer when no snow is on the ground!
Keep updated on the clues to know where it is.
Careful reading is the key to the quiz.

Township or town, look up, down and all around
North, east, south or west, in the air or on the ground.
You can sit and enjoy a beautiful view.
Options for the medallion are now just a few.
In Big Lake, not the township but town.
You are getting hot if you avoid looking up, but look down.

To reveal the location think about brown.
There is a Holiday coming near, When you find the medallion,
scream loud and we might hear.
You can now throw all the clues in the trash,
You’re getting close to the cash!
