Medallion Hunt

RULES

Join in on the family fun! The beautiful medallion is a sure treasure for it finder! The medallion is generously donated by U CAN TAN TANNING SPA .

The medallion is hidden on public property in the City of Chaska. The medallion is not buried, in the water or on private property. The medallion is at least one block north of the Minnesota River.

If found, the medallion should be turned in to Dr. Tim Sebenaler, RCD Event Coordinator at Sebenaler Chiropractic Center at 119 W 4th St. located in downtown Chaska. ( across from the City Square Park)
The medallion should be turned in as soon as it found so the final clues can be posted for the others that may still be looking.
The medallion clues are also posted at the kiosk by the City Sqaure Park in downtown Chaska, at the Chaska Community Center, at the Chaska History Center and at this website at 2pm

While hunting for the clues you can take a self-guided historical tour of downtown Chaska by going to the Chaska website at www.chaskamn.com and click on commissions and then click of historical preservation commission.

It is on Public land

So much is happening in Chaska this year
To find this treasure would be dear
Whether your just two or over fifty
Finding this treasure would be nifty

DID YOU KNOW? Chaska has history going back to 1851, when it was established. Although this area was inhabited prior to 1769 by the Mound Builders, later known as the Dakota, commonly known as the Sioux. This is why we “Respect the Mounds” during city events.

Explanation:

The businesses participate
To keep this hunt afloat
So folks can learn about this town so great

I am down low
for children to find
But if a grown up finds me
I don’t mind

Surrounded by fences
I smell and see foods
When you find me it will be good

DID YOU KNOW? Chaska is in the process of planning some new areas which will be mean that older businesses will have to flex once again.

Explanation:
The businesses participate = (Business Bucks-the prize the winners get)
Surrounded by fences = (There is a fence behind Chasers that wraps around to the Coopers Side)
I smell and see foods = (there is a fence that goes behind Chasers and rounds around to the Coopers side of the lot-Right by that Taco truck)
Did you know = (The Klein bank area and the strip mall are going to be redeveloped to include a larger library-the businesses in the mall will have to move-China Pagoda may be moveing to the OLD KFC Buiklding)
