The medallion hunt will begin on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 and will continue throughout the Snowflake Days celebration until found.  Clues will be posted on this page daily.

Rules are:

1)  You must have a 2022 Snowflake Days button to claim the cash prize.

2)  The medallion will be hidden on City of Coon Rapids property.

3)  Any destruction of City property during your search will disqualify you from claiming the prize. 

4)  Clues will be posted on this website page by 8:00 a.m. daily beginning on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 through Sunday, February 6th, 2022 or until medallion is found.

5)  The lucky person who finds the medallion should email dianebuszta@yahoo.com or text message to 612-366-1834 immediately!  Announcement will be made on this page when medallion is found.

6)  All notifications regarding this medallion hunt will be posted on this page.

7)  Prize will be awarded to the winner on Sunday, February 6th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Coon Rapids Ice Arena. 

8)  Finder of the 2022 medallion will receive a $500 prize!

Explanation:
Historical clue- Jim Croce sang in this song about the Pine trees lining the winding road, nursery can be a name for natural habitat for plants, tapering from a circular base is a cone. Back before the Anoka County License Center, theater and Sammy's this area was Pine Cone Nursery, just down the winding road.

Explanation:
A couple of things here , called it a birdie's eye view to try to make a golf reference, biochar sand filter was big clue, a placard on post just up from Woodcrest Drive describes system put in by Watershed District and City of Coon Rapids. Medallion was up in patch of trees above pond/creek.
