A shoe he's shed I report with dread, alas - 'tis such a pity.

Who ruled in the 10th Century.
Our land dairy did we, bachelor brothers of 3,
With blarney we did pass the muster!
Explanation:
The King of Munster was Brian Boru who was the founder of the O'Brien Dynasty. The O'Brien family (three single brothers and a sister) worked a dairy farm on the land that now houses the dome.

Explanation:
The Glendales of 4 are:
The north Glendale is from the top of the Plat plan of Glendale. The Plat is pictured in Nancy Huddleston's Savage, and can also be found at the Heritage Room of the Savage Library. The South Glendale is Glendale School. The East Glendale is Glendale Road and the West Glendale is Glendale Cemetery (plots). The pond is McColl pond. The dome is amid all these points.

Here's a simple clue, to help you win the haul.
Explanation:
Many sports are played at the large field of the dome (soccer, baseball, softball, Lacrosse) requiring different types of shoes and balls. The shoe was partially buried in the mulch under the evergreen in the landscaping of the N. W. corner of the dome.
