Morning

Round and round and round we go
Where we stop, only one knows
That would be me, but I’m not tellin’
I keep my cards close, like Janet Yellen
One thing for sure, neath property public
The medal resides in a shape that’s quite rubric

Afternoon

You can head to the North or head to the South
But neither will put that hook in your mouth
You can head to the East or head to the West
But the one best for fishing is the one that is best

Morning

Consider it lucky I provide so much guidance
Unlike a house lying over subsidence
But we all need direction to make it through life
Like a dog has his master, or the master his wife

Afternoon

Don’t Look Up, the movie creds say
‘Cause looking up could make a long day
A tree is involved. It’s not out of line
But this tree’s for reference, and that’s by design

Morning

The crossroads of life can bring one to ponder
Should I be where I am or somewhere out yonder?
This question’s been asked, more than once I am told
By newbies that wander or founders most bold

Afternoon

And speaking of founders, George, Thomas, or Ben
Did they know what we don’t as they dipped their pens
Were they hypocrites floundering, or full of resolve
Perhaps they were both, a riddle to solve
But we’ve followed their lead, to where we are now
With a tree in our thoughts, and a bit of know-how

Morning Clue

“I think that I shall never see.
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast”
These words by Kilmer do reveal
His awe of nature’s wonderous zeal
To know which tree his judgement wrought
You’d best tap your very deep thoughts

Afternoon Clue

I’ve telegraphed the things I know
Such message says just where to go
Follow directions in every way
As a key telegram word often will say

Friday Morning Clue

In case you’re still looking, think of a song
A catchy one too, that you’d sing along
Tony sang it in times that are now far by-gone
Of one coming home, as joined by the Dawn
Not as a wrap-around thing on a tree
But something you’d pull while down on your knee

Friday Afternoon Clue

So be your best person and stop when you’re told
One hundred bucks is so fun to hold
Keep your eyes peeled, your chin to your chest
Always remember that this is a quest
I’m pulling for you to win the big prize
Now pull for yourself, a sodden surprise

Saturday Morning Clue
George crossed a river and Ben flew a kite
If Tom crossed a Maple looking to his right
There the Lord will give him a sign
A tall, red hexagonal favorite of mine
“It’s all about that bass, ‘bout that bass, no treble”
But this is ‘bout that BASE, ‘bout that BASE, don’t quibble
Our Thoughts:
Stop signs are octagonal not hexagonal.
