Welcome, friends, to this year’s search
For big old coin of gleaming gold
Leave your emails in the lurch
And save ‘til later jokes untold
Before you don your shoes and wig
To partake of this city’s gig
Be sure to copy/paste these rules
Don’t be stubborn just like mules
Stay in or close to city limits
Keep on public lands and places
Do no diving—don’t be dimwits
And no digging—leave no traces
The coin, though wrapped, will be apparent
Not high in trees or under boulders
Kids are welcome with their parent
Use your wits instead of shoulders
