Timeless Hollywoods Rockin’, Bad Girlfriends mighty indeed,
“Let’s plan fun for each visitor!”, the committee decreed.
So merriment they found and brought it on hither,
To beloved Spooner park, but they couldn’t find a zither.
Nor Cindy Lou Who, nor a lorax, nor a horn for a train,
Look not for these things, for they’d be in vain.
Explanation:
NEAR THE HIDING SPOT, THERE IS A TRAIN TRACK WITH A SIGN STATING THERE IS NO TRAIN HORN. OF COURSE NONE OF THE OTHER DR. SUESS THINGS WOULD BE THERE EITHER.

Rock era horns, sure to excite and to soothe,
Hornucopia for you blowing velvety smooth.
Six to Midnight a rockin, boy they know how to sing!
Roofage divided? Who’d have thought such a thing?
Tall cattail, large burdock, sharp thistle, big puddle,
Sometimes through things a person must muddle.
Explanation:
WHEN STANDING AT THE HIDING SPOT, YOU CAN SEE A HOUSE THAT IS OUT OF THE ORDINARY IN THAT HALF OF THE ROOF SHINGLES ARE ONE COLOR AND THE OTHER HALF ARE ANOTHER COLOR.
THERE ARE CATTAILS, BURDOCK AND A POND AT THE HIDING LOCATION.

A fiery wedlock, hotter’n a pepper sprout,
A king of pop who sure could beat it out.
A capital you learned, seated in hinds,
Brown, clyde j, through all these it winds.
Come pooches and hounds without master’s tether,
‘Course not on those days we have nasty weather.
Explanation:
THE HIDING PLACE IS LOCATED BETWEEN JACKSON STREET AND RUTH STREET.
THE COMMONALITY IN THESE LINES ALL POINT TO JACKSON STREET:
JOHNNY CASH HAS A SONG ABOUT GETTING MARRIED IN A FEVER, “HOTTER ‘N A PEPPER SPROUT,” TITLED “JACKSON.”
MICHAEL JACKSON IS THE KING OF POP.
JACKSON IS THE CAPITAL OF MISSISSIPPI AND IS LOCATED (SEATED) IN HINDS COUNTY.
THE SINGER JACKSON BROWN’S GIVEN NAME IS CLYDE.
THE HIDING LOCATION IS ALSO LITTLE CANADA’S DOG PARK AREA.

A sobriquet George Herman once fondly knew,
A daughter of Cleveland, can you unravel this clue?
A sense of pity, grief or distress, as oxford would say,
What’s common in here will help point the way.
A shelter for warmth, a pond skimmer plate cover,
Now put all this together you devoted clue lover!
Explanation:
THESE LINES ALL POINT TO RUTH STREET:
A SOBRIQUET IS A NICKNAME. “BABE RUTH” WAS GEORGE HERMAN’S NICKNAME.
PRESIDENT CLEVELAND HAD A DAUGHTER NAMED RUTH.
IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, THE WORD “RUTH” MEANS “A SENSE OF PITY, GRIEF OR DISTRESS.”
THERE IS A HOCKEY WARMING HOUSE AT THE HIDING LOCATION.

Lines on the diagonal and lines on the straight,
A 40-something United States Secretary of State.
Look to scholars he formed, now over the hill,
Put this all together folks, you know the drill.
Piffle you’ll think, haala four eight five seven’ll show,
Outfox all the others and to you the prize we’ll owe.
Explanation:
THE PARKING LOT HAS LINES PAINTED ON IT, SOME ARE ON THE STRAIGHT AND SOME ON THE DIAGONAL.
THE 45TH SECRETARY OF STATE WAS FRANK B. KELLOGG, WHICH WAS THE FORMER NAME OF THE HIGH SCHOOL NOW KNOWN AS ROSEVILLE MIDDLE SCHOOL. THE SCHOOL SITS UP THE HILL FROM THE HIDING LOCATION. KELLOGG HIGH SCHOOL NOT ONLY SITS “OVER THE HILL” FROM THE MEDALLION, BUT THE SCHOOL EDUCATED STUDENTS WHO MIGHT NOW BE CONSIDERED “OVER THE HILL” THEMSELVES.
YOU MIGHT THINK THE WORD “HAALA” IS NONSENSE, PIFFLE, BUT IT IS THE MANUFACTURER’S COMPANY NAME THAT IS VISIBLY WRITTEN ON THE METAL POND SKIMMER PLATE COVER GRATE (AND IS FOLLOWED BY THE NUMBERS “4857”) THAT IS SITUATED NEXT TO THE MEDALLION’S HIDING SPOT.
