Congratulations to the Loechler family of Prior Lake -- Todd, Sarah, Neva (10), Jett (7) and Lily (3) -- who found the medallion at Pike Lake Park on Saturday, July 26 around 4:30 p.m. The family used the three published clues and prior knowledge of a recent story about Pike Lake Park to surmise the medallion's whereabouts, which was near a bench at the park. The family won $200 and will appear in the Lakefront Days Parade on Aug. 9.

Where is the medallion’s home?
The answers will be couched in poem,

Some parks for fishing, some for hiking,
And a few even for mountain biking.
In your quest stick to nature
And your effort could end in treasure.

How to get there you might ask.
Your right it is no easy task.
Take Jackie’s west from Pike Trail,
Then slowly north on Scherers Trail.

In the park one trail there will be
A bench for rest you will see.
Sit ye down and rest a spell,
From here my location you can tell.
