The Golden Rose Medallion hunt is an annual tradition in which hunters fan out through Roseville's many parks in search of the hidden Golden Rose Medallion. The winner(s) receives a prize package of goodies donated by local businesses.

The first clue for the Golden Rose Medallion Hunt will be released at 6:50 p.m. at the Frank Rog Amphitheatre in Central Park on June 24.

Additional clues will be released each day at noon on the Medallion Twitter account at @RVMedallionHunt. Clues will also be available on the official Golden Rose Medallion Hunt webpage until the medallion is found.

The finder of the medallion will win a basket of gift certificates valued at over $550.

Where could I be in this great bit city?

Start by heading to Evergreen and looking to the east.
If you look to the west your chances will be greatly decreased
There's fun to be had and a medallion to be found.

If you're south of Lexington Park you're going the wrong way
Come on back up north and jump into the fray

There's so much looking to do, and so little time
The good news is that the prize is sublime
Now pack up your things and get out tot he parks
