Explanation:
Keyword here is "sixth". The opening trail to the medallion is just off the sixth bridge. When counting, it appears it is the seventh bridge – but the bridge closest to Superior Street was not one of the original bridges constructed by Sam Snively.

This is a reference to the classic TV show Get Smart. If you are heading to where the medallion is from the southern part of Seven Bridges Road – you will need to veer South momentarily before getting to Maxwell Avenue. "Maxwell Smart" was the main character of the show starring Don Adams and the movie starring Steve Carrell. As it turns out, you would actually be heading East and then North. Admittedly, the cluemeister got a little twisted around in his direction.

Explanation:
The first two lines were intended to get you to think about the movie Jaws. The Steven Spielberg movie and book by Peter Benchley is based on the famous shark near "Amity" Island. Amity Creek and Amity Park are very close to where the medallion was hidden. Meanwhile the third line is a reference to the multi-use trail system where signage and park rules prohibit you from using the trail when it is wet.

There were two points to this clue. "Multi-tasking" is a reference to the "Multi-use" trail the medallion was hidden on. "Happy" news was a loose reference to what has become known as the "Smiley Rock" – a graffiti marked boulder along Amity Creek near bridge six that simply says "smile".
