Summer's sun has not yet set, as Woodbury Days is a sure bet.
And with the fun arrives a treasure, the medallion found could be your pleasure.
Search and search until you find the spot, for it's hidden in a common lot.
Explanation:
The first clue lets hunters know the medallion is on public ground. "Summer's sun has not yet set" is a vague reference to the fact that the medallion is in the farthest west portion of the city limits.

Get up, get limber, here's the situation
The hiding place is near relaxation
A place of mostly quiet, a place of peace
A place to play, but keep your pets on a leash.
Explanation:
The term "limber" means hunters are going to have to use their reach to find the medallion. "Place of relaxation" is vague reference to a park. "Place of mostly quiet" is a vague reference that the park has some noise levels that are noticeable, specifically in this case nearby traffic from I-94.

The hunt continues, but before you're spent, divide your treasure map into four quadrants.
While you're searching keep in mind this hue, 'X' marks the spot where green meets blue.
Forget the tools, you'll just cause trouble; no need for ladder, pick or shovel.
Explanation:
The "four quadrants" terms was to help hunters in future clues look for an additional directional clue to seek the medallion. If hunters were using a map, they would have an advantage over others to located future directional clues. Green meets blue refers to the spot on the city's maps where green indicates a park and blue indicates a lake or pond.

Explanation:
The state grain is wild rice. The state motto is "Land of 10,000 Lakes." The "St. Croix" refers to the state of Wisconsin, which includes the city of Menominee, which in Ojibway language means "wild rice people." Menomini Park is where the medallion was hidden.

Up to the path one of them did sneak,
Follow her and you're on the creek.
Explanation:
The "sisters" reference refers to four consecutive streets that are near Battle Creek Lake and Menomini Park where the medallion was hidden. "Up the path" is a reference to the medallion's hiding spot, which was a dock on Battle Creek Lake at the end of a path. "North" and "west" were directional clues that helped those using map look in the northwest quadrant of the city.
