I went around Noon and I'd say there were about a dozen people spread out, but a lot of drive by hunters too. For what it's worth, I did spot Rob Brass coming out of the woods on the East end of the park, crossing the street towards Obb's bar. It looks like Phalen Creek makes its way through the park near there before dumping into the Mississippi. I walked part of the "Tree Trek Map" and there are no tracks of any sort, but I will say I'm not sold that the "deed is done" video means anything at all.  I'll be out hunting this weekend with my kids so look for my bright purple Vikings sweatshirt and say hello.

It assumes the medallion was found yesterday on Clue 5. So your guesses from Clue 1 get multiplied by 5 (for 5 clues), so 50 points. Your clue 2 guesses are multiplied by 4, so 40 points. And then 30, 20, and 10 for your guesses on the day the medallion was (theoretically) found. That's a total of 150. Now on clue 6, all the previous guesses bump up another 10 in value (10x6) + (10x5) + (10x4) + (10x3) + (10x2) and you have 10 more for today, so now you have 210 points total. Tomorrow it will be 280, and then 360, and then 450 if the hunt keeps going.

Hey David,  Although I kinda grasp this Common Core math stuff, how do I have 150 points with 6 clues and 10 choices? Home sick today, too.

My case for Indian Mounds. Most of these noodles are not my own, but at this point it's the best compilation I can come up with.
Clue 1: We aint bluffin - Sometimes clue 1 can be as obvious as it seems. They are in fact not bluffing that it's in a park on a bluff. Vikings are done, Twins haven't started so what excuse do you have not to be in the city of St. Paul, supporting the wild.Clue 2: IMpeachment, Johnson parkway leads right to the park. Andrew Johnson was the first impeached president. There certainly would be flora to be careful of (the mounds themselves and also Thorn street)Clue 3: I liked David's thought that it's in a park covered by Mappy's book (dog-eared means folding the corner of a page down to bookmark it so a physical map like Map Guy's). You also might kneel to honor the dead who are buried here.Clue 4: This one might be a stretch, but here goes. There were two stone cutters involved in an accident while building the St. Paul capitol building. One passed away (Albert Swanson) but one survived and only suffered a broken leg (he definitely salvaged life and limb). His name was FRANK Thiery. Frank street parallels Johnson parkway leading to IM park.Clue 5: GRU airport code for Sao Paulo (St. Paul) references clear visibility of the St. Paul airport and the airway beacon still stands.Clue 6: The first ever Ski Jump in St. Paul was built in Indian Mounds, before being destroyed and rebuilt in Battle Creek. A ski jumping hill certainly has a summit and would obviously plummet. You would wind yourself up before hopping off the end of the jump. Hopefully you'll stop before you reach the bluff.
Cheers.

Yes, this year it was on Tuesday. I think that's about as far into the hunt as it gets and next year it will be before the hunt maybe.

When the medallion was at Conway, it's wasn't found on the boulevard. It was a little further in, roughly in line with the bench behind the backstop.

I've been thinking about the tracks in the video (the video seems to have been removed now) and I still think they are cross country tracks. Not from a single skier, or groomed tracks, but if you have multiple people forging their way through over time, the tracks can widen. Regardless, once you get to the park, look for some tracks!

I kind of thought that, but a waterfall would only plummet after it got to the bluff. So it would make more sense if it was referring to the creek itself. Phalen creek for example winds around, it stops and starts as it hops above and below ground. It does descend and eventually empties into the Mississippi so it must reach the bluff. The only thing is I'd hesitate to say it reached a summit, but I think you're looking for something like that. It's a line of some sort on the map that winds around and gets to a bluff at some point. Though the treasure isn't necessarily at the bluff. I think the treasure is where one end of the line is. It could cross Summit Ave. or go by Summit Brewing as there aren't a lot of true summits in the county. I will say I heard a theory that I think is likely correct, but I didn't hear it somewhere I can post publicly. But do note that the clue is written to sound like the past tense.

Once at the summit, it did quite plummet
Before it got to the bluff
Starting and stopping,
winding and hopping
It will eventually lead to the stuff

Clue #6 - 2020

The Allison Wonderland - Fri, 01/24/2020 - 00:23
Sorry, I was at my Mason meeting all night tonight. But here is the latest clue which I'm sure you've seen by now, but at least this has all of the clues together.

Clue #6 Once at the summit, it did quite plummet Before it got to the bluff Starting and stopping, winding and hopping It will eventually lead to the stuff   Clue #5 We will protect each clue from the GRU Nyet hackers! Have you no shame? They may fix our elections, but we'll spark insurrection, If they try to interfere with our game   Clue #4 One patterned neat and trim, one salvaged life and limb Did the two cutters who lived down the way. Herringbones or sawbones? You decide which will play.   Clue #3 This hunt’s guarantor settles that forevermore Noodlers treasure noggins; keep that in mind. So doff your warm cap, study dog-eared map And genuflect in the presence of the find.   Clue #2 Though the times be quite peachy, we do so beseech ye, To venture out of doors for a romp As you traipse through the snow, your medallions aglow, Careful of what flora you stomp   Clue #1 There’s just enough snow and temperatures low To rouse us from our snoozing And hide the MacGuffin, no we ain’t bluffin, In a park of our very own choosing.   The Vikings are done, the Twins yet begun What excuse do you have to dawdle? Gather your kin, prepare for the win And be sure to bring a hot bottle
